Katelynne has a whole new look. We went to the Great Clips in Springville. When we arrived I showed Katelynne some pictures of little girls with long hair and suggested a few that only involve a trim. Well, of course, a 4-year-old has her own agenda. She then proceeded to show me her favorite pictures of little girls with hair as short as their chin. Now I was in a bind. So finally we compromised that she could have it to the top of her shoulders. (then I had to call her daddy and warn him of the surprise, he was partial to her long locks.)
So this is how it all turned out. Needless to say, she was so happy that she couldn't stop smiling. She loves to "flick or flip" it any chance she gets. All of her teachers at school told her it was beautiful. Katelynne is as happy as can be with the hair cut "she chose". And i love it too. I think it looks very nice on her.
As for our superhero below. No she wasn't trying on my eye shadow ( I wish that was the case). She fell and hit her head on the side of the bathtub. Can you say immediate swelling and bruising. I have never seen a wound swell up and be blue so fast. Of course, because it is Alexa, so there was a significant amount of screaming as well. Poor girl!

Cute hair Katelynn! Alexa, Hayden has a matching eye. He won't let us carry him while we go shopping and fell down three times at the mall.
I love Katelynn's hair, and I hope that Alexa's eye gets better soon! Thank you so much for helping us move! We're still unpacking and trying to get stuff on the walls, but things are going well.
Just so you've got it in writing, our blog is brenterika.blogspot.com. See you soon!
